من حكم الخسوف للقمر
مما قال المحب الطبري مختصرا/
* ظهور التصرف الرباني في الشمس والقمر، وهما خلقان عظيمان.
* تنبيه القلوب الساكنة بالغفلة وإيقاظها.
* ليرى الناس نموذج ما سيجري في القيامة، قال تعالى: {وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ، وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ}.
* أنهما موجودان في حال الكمال، ويكسفان ثم يلطف بهما، ويعادان إلى ما كانا عليه، تنبيهًا على خوف المكر ورجاء العفو.
* أن أغلب الناس قد أَلفوا الصلوات المفروضات، فيأتونها من غير خشوع ووجل ولا خوف وإجلال كافيين للتهذيب ، فأتى الحق بهذه الآية تعليما ورحمة وتأديبا وسببًا لهذه الصلاة؛ ليفعلها بشعور جديد ملؤه إشفاق وخشية .

وخسف القمر: أي ذهب ضوءه . والخسوف في الدنيا إلى انجلاء ، بخلاف الآخرة ، فإنه لا يعود ضوءه . ويحتمل أن يكون بمعنى غاب ; ومنه قوله تعالى : ((فخسفنا به وبداره الأرض .))
طبيعي أن يخاف المشفقون من سكوت البشرية على الأذى والفظائع..
