You can't leave the first verse of the Quran without noticing that:
mercy is mentioned in two different forms!
And at the third verse - actually it is the second line- mercy is mentioned again... Twice again this time also!
...
He is the most gracious the most Merciful, He is widely Merciful and from him the everlasting mercy comes
..He bestows a general and special mercy!.....
About the name
Allah, he is the only god, his description through this name is unique in Arabic language, it is where the characteristics, attributes and descriptions became a names...
He got the known beautiful names, but he is one...
He is the source of everything, so adjectives here become nouns

If we say he is the most Merciful, this means it is his description and his name!
it shows you that every mercy is from him. Same as to power, every power is from Allah, is
