تُعتبر هذه المخلوقات من المهندسين والفنانين الصغار 

انظر إلى "كرات الرمل" العجيبة الجميلة المنظمة، وتأمل هذا الرزق

 * : هذه السرطانات لا تأكل الرمل نفسه طبعا، بل تستخدم أجزاء فم متخصصة وهبها الله تعالى لها "لغربلة" المواد العضوية والعوالق الملتصقة بحبيبات الرمل.

 * بعد استخلاص الغذاء الذي هداها الله تعالى له وأرسله إليها لتبقى حية ولتبقي الدورة الحيوية للبيئة، وجدناها لا تبعثر الرمل بل "تبني من الرمل المتبقي كرات صغيرة .

 * هناك نقطة مذكورة حول النمط الهندسي المذهل وهي أنها تبدأ بالتحرك من ج

حرها نحو الخارج بشكل إشعاعي، مما يخلق لوحات فنية فطرية من الكرات الصغيرة تغطي مساحات واسعة من الشاطئ قبل أن يأتي المد التالي ليمسحها ويبدأ العمل من جديد!

نقطة إعجاز أخرى 

### . التنفس تحت الرمل

 * بما أنها تقضي وقتاً طويلاً في جحورها أثناء الفمر بالماء عند المد العالي، فإنها تحبس فقاعة هواء داخل الجحر، كما تمتلك "غشاءً" في أرجلها يساعدها على تبادل الغازات (التنفس) حتى في البيئات الرطبة جداً.. سبحان من علم وألهن وزود ووفق وحفظ. 

### ، رؤية آلاف الكرات الصغيرة المصطفة بدقة حول جحر صغير تجعلك كذلك تشعر بمدى دأب هذه المخلوقات. إنها تمضي حياتها وكأنها في سباق مع الزمن (بين مد وجزر) كأنما تسعى لترتيب رمال الشاطئ أثناء كسب القوت.

These creatures are like little engineers and artists 

Look at these wondrous, beautiful, and perfectly organized "sand balls," and contemplate this provision

 *: These crabs do not eat the sand itself, of course, but use specialized mouthparts that Allah, the Exalted, has endowed them with to “sift” through the organic matter and plankton attached to the sand grains.

 * After extracting the food that God Almighty has provided for them and sent to them so they may remain alive and sustain the ecosystem’s life cycle, we find that they do not scatter the sand but rather “build small balls from the remaining sand.”

 * One remarkable aspect of this amazing geometric pattern is that it begins by moving radially outward from its burrow, creating natural artistic patterns of small balls that cover vast areas of the beach before the next tide comes to wash them away and start the process anew!

Another marvel 

### . Breathing under the sand

 * Since they spend a long time in their burrows while being submerged by water at high tide, they trap an air bubble inside the burrow. They also possess a “membrane” in their legs that helps them exchange gases (breathe) even in very wet environments. Glory be to the One who taught them, created them, provided for them, guided them, and preserved them. 

### Seeing thousands of tiny balls neatly lined up around a small burrow makes you realize just how diligent these creatures are. They spend their lives as if in a race against time (between high and low tides), as if striving to arrange the beach sand while earning their livelihood.
